What this publication covers
Renzorodriguez publishes editorial features, studio visits, process photography and interviews with designers, makers and small workshops, mostly in South Africa. We describe materials, tools, methods and working conditions as they were reported to us. We do not sell the objects shown, run the workshops profiled, or act as an agent for any maker. When a piece mentions a price, a supplier or a technique, treat it as reporting, not as a quote or a recommendation for your own project.
Using our articles and images
You may read, link to and quote short passages from our pages for teaching, research or commentary, as long as you credit Renzorodriguez and link back to the original article. Republishing a full feature, a photo set or an interview on another site, in a printed zine or in course material requires written permission first. Process photography belongs to the photographer and the studio that allowed the shoot, so it is not covered by a general reuse allowance.
Studio stories you send us
If you send a pitch, a set of images or a written account of your practice, you keep ownership of your material. By submitting it you give us permission to edit, publish and archive it in the magazine and on this site. You confirm the work is yours to share and that any people shown in photographs agreed to appear. We may decline a submission, hold it for a later issue, or return it if it does not fit the editorial mix. We do not guarantee publication or a response time.
Accuracy and limits of responsibility
We check names, dates and technical details before publishing, but workshops change suppliers, clay bodies behave differently between firings, and a method that works in one studio may fail in another. We are not liable for losses, damaged work or failed projects that follow from applying something you read here. External links are provided for context only, and we are not responsible for what those sites publish or how they handle your data.
Changes to these terms
We update this page when our editorial process, submission rules or legal obligations change. The revised version takes effect once it is published here, and the date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current terms. If a change affects material you have already submitted, we will contact you at the address you provided.
