Most reader mail is about sourcing, studio visits or a correction to something we printed. Pick the route that fits and you will land with the right person instead of waiting in a general inbox.
If you run a workshop, a kiln or a print table and want it documented, send a short note about the space, the materials you work with and what a visit would actually involve. We read these between issues, so expect a slower reply than a general query.

Missing a copy, chasing a profile from two years back, or need a page reference for a citation. Tell us the issue number or the maker's name and we will point you to the right page rather than sending a full PDF.

Spotted a wrong material, a misspelled studio name or a photo credited to the wrong maker. These go to the top of the pile. Include the issue, the page and what should have been printed.

Still unsure which route fits? The FAQ covers the questions we get most often about submissions, studio access and reprints.
Most questions that reach the studio fall into a few familiar buckets: a story you want to pitch, a correction on something we printed, a request for back issues, or a note about a workshop we should visit. The details below are the fastest way to reach a person rather than a queue.
Phone calls are answered during office hours. Emails sent over the weekend are usually read on Monday morning, once the print schedule for the week is set.
Send a short note with the maker's name, the town, and what they actually make. Photos help, but a clear description of the process matters more.
Tell us which issue or which profile you are after. If it is out of print we can point you to the digital copy or the nearest stockist.
Spotted a wrong material, a misspelled name or a misattributed photo? Write to the editorial address and we will fix it in the next print run.
